The Hansen family is proud to always offer raw, ungraded, 100% honey sourced from the Northern Great Lakes area. Raw honey is never heated above 130 degrees F, to preserve the live enzymes and antibacterial properties. Honey is filtered through a coarse strainer, and may vary in color depending on the time of year and area it was harvested from.
Raw honey will naturally crystallize to preserve itself. Solid or crystallized honey is still safe to eat, but to reliquify, simply place in a hot water bath.
Raw honey will never expire, but always keep your jars sealed to prevent excess moisture from fermenting your honey.
Never feed honey to infants under 1 year.
