Wedge Top Bar/Grooved Bottom Bar Frames. 18% more wood in end bars (Full 3/8″ Thickness) Grooved bottom bar is stronger and easier to use. 1) Wood wedge is removed from frame. 2) Foundation is placed in frame. 3) Wood wedge is held firmly against foundation and nailed or stapled in place. Fits 9 5/8 inch hive bodies (Deep Supers). Nails included. Unassembled. We suggest using 8 1/2" Crimp Wired foundation, ordered separately.
